SJ Janjua is a passionate DEIB leader and practitioner who brings 10+ years of experience in ensuring the equity of K-12 schools and organizations. They are an accomplished educator – former classroom teacher in the US and abroad, curriculum developer, teacher trainer, and classroom observer and evaluator. They use their lived experience as a transgender, non-binary, queer, mixed-race person to inform the work their work. This is an oral history documentary series honoring LGBTQ+ leaders shaping Baltimore, directed and produced by Art of Solidarity with CASA de Maryland youth.
